Usually they just don't know or particularly care who did the original. They just label the song with their best guess and yeah, comic hilarity ensues x_x like alot of people think Vanessa Mae did the song "Uranus Neptune Pluto no ACTION" from Sailor Moon, but she didn't. It sounds like her sort of violin style, but it's not her.
