Actually I didn't mind the PV being in NY, I just minded it being on the back of a semi... riding through the street... wasn't that interesting!
I actually didn't mind Ayu doing a gospel song... I was kinda excited... BUT B&D is not really gospel... just got gospel-ish singers in the backgroud : / I think if Ayu went REAL gospel it could be awesome!

I think the japanese seem to love everyting foreign, done in a japanese / by japanese way. Releasing evolution she used the US flag and stuff, but other than the purely image-related stuff, I don't find the music very americanized. I don't think ayu's style ever has been very americanized compared to other japanese artists like f.ex koda kumi and namie who've done songs that are much closer to the popular rnb style that seems to be very hip in the US now. Ayu's never done any real rnb songs, she's been sticking more to the (euro)japanese dance/pop-rock thing. But on B&D she adopts a style that's purely american; funky gospel. SOme poeple mentioned that pride resembles something Alicia keys would do (especially in the verse), and because of the fact that these two songs are releases together one notice the "american" style even more. So I can understand how people feel that this single is more americanized than ever before.
