To be honest I don't think Kumi was the best artist of 2005 - I mean some releases were plain excellent but others were simply mediocre. If it is based on hard work then yes she does deserve it since she's worked insanely hard this year but most of them are a hit and miss to me. I'm still traumatised by Lies and Shake It Up even if I am in love with "you" and "D.D.D".

NANA's getting boring. I don't like the single and I honestly not impressed by this change in style. I think it's really overrated.

I donno I find this list pretty odd that's all.

I love the NANA single thought it was good and I do think Kumi was the best Artist for 2005. I know there are alot of people on that list that deserves to be higher.

Maybe B'Z is soo low because of the one single? Maybe Orange Range is so high because lots of people like them (I don't know why) and Probably there album and singles this year?L'Arc En Ciel I don't know how so low are all there singles exceeded over 100,000 copies. But remember it's the votes that count so we have no Control.

As for NANA if it's BIG in Japan wouldn't you expect to see Mika high? Im surpised to see Ken Hirai because of his late year.
