Yeah, it seemed she didn't really fit in when she was younger, which is maybe part of the reason why she pursued the whole Idol career...to make herself feel more wanted and beautiful? Total speculation there. Maybe she was just bored.
I liked the "I hate makeup" thing, and also how she said "I want my hair to be jet-black!" Man, when was the last time we saw Ayu with black hair?
