Hehe~ sales it no longer an object of "importance" to me nowadays~...it's merely a numerical digit to show the amount of sales which gives a biased information to show the success of one person....I mean like... Oricon, it only ever counts sales in pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~~
The reasons why people can't get album:
no money
no access
just ran out of money lately
saving it for something else
Don't like the tracks
Doesn't like the pictures inside
reasons to get them:
super fan
likes the album
loves the pictures!
...
How the "thing" is sold affects it a lot, ie, what comes with it, what doesn't, how special the tracks on the album is, how "limited" the version can be... etc
they're just marketing sales
I assure you, many people usually buy things because they're worth value not because of the actual song quality.
so like...yeah~
These sales not longer tell people anything too important, and it certainly will not represent an artist's fall or rise and success.~
I don't see that (m)u not selling well as a suprise. It's most likely many people are not will to try out Ayu's new song styles~ (you know~ B&D and how everyone when nuts about the song~) new styles that are introduced to the audience usually either takes time to get absorb, that is unless that specific style REALLY just hits the audience's taste...
B&D/Pride single's release was mostly to get the audience ready for her new style...sometimes reading the magazine interviews does seem to hint that too~
