I've composed several original songs in dreams that sounded pretty excellent, but as soon as I wake up I can't remember the tunes anymore (there were a few times in which after I woke up I was able to keep on humming the composition for a while but once I focused into doing other things - taking a bath, brushing the teeth - it was enough for me to forget everything...if only I knew music language I guess I could write the compositions down as soon as I woke up).
I can't really compose any song when I'm awake though.
