Truhappiness: That picture is amazing! It can be hard to find nature in such beautiful condition these days, Thanks for sharing. I gotta get my butt to Hawaii someday.

People have asked what I thought of the performance. Well, my seat was pretty close to the stage, so I had a very good view, but I suppose the trade-off to being so close was that it was LOUD, LOUD, LOUD! Sometimes it was so loud that I could not even hear Ayu's voice! When she sang quieter songs, I was able to hear better...but by that point my eardrums had been rattled and everything sounded muffled. I suppose all concerts are this loud, but I've never been to a concert before in my life, so maybe I'm just not used to it. ^^; Some classmates that I went with who were in the "standing section" (so far back that I couldn't even see where it was) said that they could hear her voice perfectly, and that she sounded great. I guess I'll just have to take their word for it because it was extremely hard for me to judge the vocal quality of something I usually couldn't hear. During the acoustic section (which was the section I could hear the mosr clearly), where she sang Heaven and Teens, I thought she did a very good job, even though I don't particularly like Teens.

HOWEVER, since I had such an up close view of the stage, I can say that I found the performances to be fantastic. I am always impressed by the dancers, musicians, Ayu herself, the sets, special effects....you really get the feeling that everyone is one big family working together to make a great show. Whether this concert was "better" than the My Story one last year is hard to say. I LOVE the My Story concert but I loved this one too and am very excited for it to be released on DVD.

Oh yeah, and Yo-chan is an incredible guitarist. I'm sure you all already know that. He's definitely developed a strong following of his own and the crowd loved his solo.

I guess in conclusion I can say that going to Ayu's concert has been a whole new experience for me. Seeing Ayu wave to you from a DVD, and seeing her ACTUALLY wave to you in the audience is quite different!
The concert sounds like it was so much fun! I have to agree with you about seeing Ayu wave on the DVD and waving to you live.
