That's what I thought originally too when I saw her alone on the sand, but there was nothing about a HUGE entourage of people including all her dancers and film crew going with her to Dubai. Some of those shots look like Japan and some look like Hawaii.
Like the song, I don't hate the video. But when you compare the videos that have come out this year(Startin', Born to Be, Blue Bird) to those that came out by this time last year (fairyland, alterna, Step YOU, is this LOVE, My Names Women); then yes, there
is a big gap in the production values of those shoots.
