It's a summer song. Most summer songs are either on the beach or somewhere bright and happy like a party or something of that sort. You can't expect a summer song with the theme of STEP you or rainy days. That's what I meant. The song is upbeat, happy and bright so you cannot expect a different setting. When I heard the song I imagined a tropical island because that's the image most would get with such a song. It might lack originality but I clearly do not think there are many other alternatives on summer songs with this type of theme.
