hahaha. Last time I was there, I stayed and kept an eye out, but no Ayu. I swear I saw some stars though. I'm just not very familiar with a lot of boy bands and other male Japanese stars. But the Minato/Roppongi area is apparently where most Japanese stars live. Anyways, 2 nights after concerts I got back to my hotel late, like past 11pm and on the walk from the station to the hotel, I'm sure I passed 2 different stars. You could tell simply because of how amazing they looked - you know, hair obviously professionally styled, tall for Japanese guys, just looked very well put together in general - definitely like people you would only see on TV. Not to mention the fact that they were both out walking their dogs that late at night with almost no one else out on the street.
Makes sense because Minato is primarily an area for expatriots, so it has a large foreign population and they aren't going to go nuts over seeing a star on the streets.
Anyways, they were both nice, giving me a smile and nod as we passed each other. Damn, I wish I knew who they were.
