Actually several singers do that. Maki Goto almost always sings with the mic right on her lips, yet she generally does not lip synch.

Once again, that is a case of Avex editing the DVD, not Ayu lip synching.

And I think she does lipsynch full songs... and she lipsynch more often then we think, IMHO.

I doubt they are going to go through the trouble of "Ok, you will lip-synch this night and this night, but not this night, and only partially on this night." Why would they want to do that? Despite the illogicity of it, they also I'm sure would have run into a major technical mistake by now. Also, when she is clearly singing a song differenlty one day than she just sang it on the day before, it is hard to believe any lip synching is going on. Also take into the fact that live concerts do not sound like DVDs, you are always going to have moments where Ayu's voice is not coming through enough, the mic will briefly cut out or the level will go down etc etc, throughout the concert, yet I have never once heard a vocal track playing in the background.
