Some people are like that, yes, but not everyone who dislikes a recent song is like that - there are a few people in another thread that have listed recent songs they've liked. You seem to lump them all together just because they haven't liked the last couple of singles - try to work out which group is which, and not be so general and clump them all together
When it comes to people who don't like anything, it's best to just focus on something other than arguing with them - why not just enjoy what you enjoy and forget about anyone who doesn't like it?
