As much as I love love love Gackt (he and Hyde are tied for my favorite jrockers^_^) I really have to question his concert dvds. They do appear to be heavily edited to me. Especially in the encores where he is breathing very heavily between songs and looks like he is about to faint, yet as soon as the song starts, all breath sounds are gone and he is singing as perfectly as ever.
I don't think he lip synchs in his concerts but I do think they edit his vocals for the dvd to make them more "perfect." So I generally just judge Gackt by the TV performances that he is obviously singing live on. He still sounds amazing, just not as absolutely perfect as the DVDs would lead you to believe.
