Yeah, the echo is impossible to avoid, but the speakers are placed so that there's to be as little of it as possible, and I heard no serious echo when I was at the Yoyogi Stadium on neither performance, close or far back from the stage (if my memory didn't erase the echo). In the Dome Tour DVD you can clearly hear the echo though. I think that standing behind the speakers is like standing at the back of the arena/dome/stadium, the sound is still really loud but far from devastating.

Well, as long as whatever the off-topic posts is about is interesting for many and/or invite people to more discussion on some matter that's atleast remotely connected to the inital post I don't think it matters much. If a topic would turn into a private discussion between two members it's another thing, that could be taken via PM. Well, it's not for me to judge.
