When I first heard Ayu had been dating someone, it made me feel a little weird, I must admit. If you told me to try to imagine the ideal man for Ayu, I wouldn't be able to do it. Absolutely not. She just seems like such a single woman to me... Maybe it's the short blond image. It's got so much freakin attitude and independence. I guess looking at her more recently, it's easier to imagine her with a boyfriend.
So, looking up Tomoya's pic for the first time after learning that she's going out with him, I was like "whoa...she's going out with HIM?" I think I would've reacted that way regardless of who it was. Actually before I looked up the pic, I thought her boyfriend was this dude she was walking with in a pic from the first TIME magazine featuring her:

Tomoya looks like a tough guy in most of his pics...but when you see him smile it's like aww he's a big softie lol. Well, like all you guys, I just want her to be happy
