of course the so-called ** million is impossible, since taiwanese idols main market is bad and bad and bad.
there are some of her fans in the other countries, but since they don't speak chinese and their population is poor(china has 1.3billion people). the overseas sale won't be high...
besides, did you ever noticed that those taiwanese artists always annouced their "all-asia" sales, but never their taiwan sales...why??becuz there aren't any institution that counts the whole asia's sales, it can't be proved if the announced figure is fake. and their isn't any institution that is like ORICON, telling you the chinese mainland's sale or asia's sales.

I think she is able to sell 2 million. I already know how bad downloading/bootlegs etc. it is, but 2 million really isn't a lot considering how many people actually speak Chinese in Asia. Let's say 99% of China's population either download the album, buy a bootleg or are too poor to buy the album and the 1% actually buys the real thing. The 1% is already 10,000,000 potential 'real album' buyers'. So really, 1-3 million for all of Asia isn't "impossible" if the artist is insanely popular and/or if the album is really really good.
The closest thing to oricon in the Chinese speaking areas would be the IFPI. I know that they have one in Hong Kong, that counts the number of CDs shipped, so I'm guessing they have one in Taiwan/S'pore etc. Plus, an "all-asia" number a) sounds nicer and b ) their album isn't just sold in Taiwan but in all the Chinese areas of Asia
