I don't know where you shop, but bootlegs are scarce in Hong Kong now, I never saw one while I was there.

Don't bother with HMV, they're so expensive you might as well order them online. Any random CD stores on the streets is likely to stock these mainstream releases if the OS version is already released.

These ones have pretty good prices.
Swan & Co.
Shop No.UG 9, C.C. Wu Building, 302-308 Hennessy Road, Wanchai, HK

Laser Express
Shop 237 Oriental 188 Shopping Centre, 188 Wanchai Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong

There are also plenty of shops that would carry J-pop in Wanchai's "Oriental 188 Shopping Centre" and Mong Kwok's "Sino Centre", there's also a store in TaiKoo shopping centre with a pretty decent selection. But I can't remember the name of the store, but it's a chain store.

Edit: Oh, I think the name of that chain store is 'CD Warehouse'.
