her vocals are lack luster i have taken vocal classes for years and a few people were listening to this and our vocal coach played it. And he was like what do you think.. and the class laughed at some songs. "Fighting over me" was the funniest she was like a hook in that song rarely a verse. And her vocal range sucked!!!!! i heard Haylie's version of "SCREWED" and "STARS ARE BLIND" and "I Want You" they were way better she actually showed character and hit notes. And this review said it the best. The songs were heavily edited how can u have Jewel as your avatar now that is a TRUE ARTIST~!!!! Paris will not be doing a sophmore album omg she is hurting the american music industry!

NOW Magazine
Though Storch and other heavy hitters do their best to craft reasonable facsimiles of a broad range of Today's Best Dance-Pop Hits, they can't hide the fact that Hilton's a **** singer who can't carry a tune even when the vocal melody is reproduced note-for-note in the arrangements.

Blender
A few fast, punky songs suit her pout, but more than anything, Hilton makes celebrity sound boring.

Rolling Stone:
This... well, let's call it "album" represents the death certificate of all that is good about pop music. At least it has historic value: rock and roll died a long time ago, now we have a precise date to evocate the death of pop.

Los Angeles Times
Like cotton candy, the food group she most resembles, what may seem like a mouthful for a moment is gone in the blink of an eye, leaving a sweet aftertaste and empty calories behind. [22 Aug 2006]
