I think that MY STORY sounded unoriginal to people who aren't fans of rock. Genres you are usually not into tend to sound pretty bland and sometimes similar.
I think that the unoriginality has been far "worse" this year, than back in 2004. A lot of pop. Then, I'm biased towards MY STORY because it's my favourite album, because it is easily the album I like the sound of the most.
If you don't like the tracks on the new album, remember to not blame them for being rushed, because we can't possibly know if they were. There's still plenty of time for Ayu to finish her songs and relax
