Yes, the opening is indeed stunning.
I think the title of the thread should be thoughts of the DVD, and not the performance, because there's a slight difference

From what I noticed in the 7 minute clip that was released just recently the editors of the DVD seem to have been able to capture the sheer power of her performance very well, I'm re-living it all again. I hope that the rest of the DVD will be as skillfully made.
The intro is amazing, I find it her best intro, ever.
