I think that was kinda on purpose, to give her kind of a glowy aura. If ayu knew she wanted a black background flat, she'd have taken the photos against a dark background. Besides, they'd have to photoshop that or the dress would just blend in.
Anyway, i haven't gotten mine yet. I'm REALLY anxious though cuz Prime ordered me her 2007 calendar too and it came a few days ago. ^___^
