Noooo! Actually I was thinking that too cause I'm needing a new portable CD player. I looked up some websites (like Argos/Currys/Comet) and they didn't have many at all *gasp* My sis is always saying "god you're still listening to CDs". (well she does sometime too, but never on her portable CD player). I even listen to it when I'm on the computer - sounds better! I've always had to have the physical CD rather than downloading and feel it's a waste of space to have it just sitting on my shelf.

Then again maybe the whole downloading thing isn't going that well - at least it isn't for me. I legally downloaded a few songs, costing a couple of pounds in total, only to find you can only play them on your PC. (although my friend says to copy it to CD and then rip it back to the computer, which I will try!) Anyway, what's the point in all this legal downloading if you can't play it on your mp3 player? Are legal downloads not around because so many people have mp3 players nowadays?

Anyway, long live CD players!
