^Same here. While Koda's voice is not completely devoid of emotions, it just doesn't seem to come forth as naturally as the emotions from Ayu's songs or Mika's voice, or Yuna Ito's, Olivia's, and so on.
(or since she didn't have the same type of voice as the latter, one comparison would be Namie, which pull off wonderful ballads without straining her voice)
Candlelight would have been a wonderful ballad had she had better vocals. Unmei had such nice arrangement and a nice melody but her singing just ruined the song (plus for some odd reason I found that PV extremely cheesy).
