I probably haven’t listened to a new album on relative repeat since sixxxxxx.

Trouble is my least played “album”; I didn’t even buy it.

And the rockier songs she’s released have all blended together… they even all have similar messages. Past vs present, facing judgment, not caring about what people say, continuing on despite everyone…

BUT, there’s a distinct difference that I feel with Ayu now than Ayu a few years ago. She does seem a lot more interested in recording and filming—and that makes me excited. Ayu, for me, was always the best at beautiful, layered, wintry ballads. So I’m super excited for Mask.
