Imo the beauty of art is that people can interpret it in any way they want and find hidden meanings that they can relate to, regardless whether it was the author's original intention or not
After all, we actually really don't know what went through ayu's team's heads when they chose the title, so saying that they chose to have a "^" symbol instead of a superscript for no reason or because they were lazy isn't any more valid or superior than thinking that they did it on purpose to convey some special meaning. It's all just assumptions that none of us will ever be able to prove after all
