They just seem overly protective of their idols I suppose. This was my very first Ayu concert and Japanese concert experience as well, and in all honesty, I think the fans may have been the most jarring thing about the whole experience, and unfortunately I don't know if it's just differences between American culture and Japanese culture or what, but I was kind of let down by how stand off-ish people were at this concert. Not just at the concert, but around the arena, everybody was just very stand offish, and perhaps maybe Yokohama people are a bit different from those in Tokyo, but it was really offputting how unfriendly some seemed to be, even though we were all about to see an Ayu concert!
Perhaps someone can shed some perspective?
