You're right it doesn't matter (
). But the reason it came up was because that would mean significantly that, hypothetically, there is nothing between him and Ayumi.
At the same time, assuming he's straight is the same thing as assuming he's gay, don't you think? Besides a supposed blog post that was deleted, we don't know and it's none of our business anyway I guess.
