I find that surprising because just now I've checked the Japan post page and the shipping to plenty of European countries like Poland, Spain, Czech, Slovakia, Austria is possible at least via airmail or EMS (Poland has no EMS while France does but no airmail there). I hope they will open the shipping routes for you!
