The Adele Thread -19, 21, 25-

So we all know the Queen has returned and 25 just dropped today. I wanted to dedicate a topic to Adele to discuss the new album and any news in general.

Hello REALLY hyped me for this release, because Adele came back with a bang. I seriously cannot stop listening to Hello. But 25 suffers like her past two albums in that they're... kind of boring lol. I liked 21 because there were a lot of exciting tracks (Rolling in the Deep, Turning Tables, Set Fire to the Rain) but all those songs were singles lol. Adele always knows what songs to choose for singles but then the album tracks can be boring tbh lol to me anyway. Sitting through her albums in one play-through can be really tiresome. Still a good release and a good album among the market today.

My favorite songs are Hello, Send My Love (To Your New Lover), Love in the Dark and Million Years Ago (this song tugs my heartstrings *sniff sniff).

I just bought the album and Hello still sleighs me. When that chorus comes on, you better run cuz I'm gonna be screaming. HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE.
Haven't listend to the other tracks yet cuz I've been super lazy.

Anyway it's actually pretty epic that she's projected to sell 2.5million copies in the USA in one week. She's really coming for Utada's record. Nobody is safe from Adele.

Thanks for opening the thread btw. I wanted to post in the Utada thread and drag her by saying that Adele is possibly shitting on her record but I'll do it here.

Excellent album. Adele's vocals are on point.
Anyone who didn't like her past two albums will likely not find anything here that will be too refreshing - it's more of the same, but as a fan of Adele myself, I find it's a golden release. I'll be belting out these tracks for months to come. Personal favourites right now are Hello, Send My Love (To Your Lover), Love in the Dark, All I Ask, and Sweetest Devotion.

Find out that she likes Lana, would be a dream to see them in collaboration.

I finally gave the album a full listen and I actually really like it. I think its sales are deserved and I'm glad such a good album would overtake Utada's record.
