Since the age of 16, AZU has been performing live at clubs. Her shows were mostly held around the Kansai and Toukai areas. Her name comes from the phrases "A~Z and handed down to you." She made her first appearance on when she was selected by SEAMO to be featured on his second album, Live Goes On. The song, Kokoro no Koe ended up being used as the radio single to promote the album. She also appeared in the video for the song. It was well received and the album reached #1 on the Oricon charts. After this she went on to perform at eight venues on SEAMO's tour. She is one of the artists featured in SEAMO's upcoming event, GOLDEN TIME. AZU was also featured on the Oricon 2007~spring~ Sound Blowin' concert.

So when did you discover AZU? I was introduced to her from AyUta a month ago.

I discovered her around the time the Jewel Sky PV was released. I was instantly captivated by the song. It was over at JPM forums where I found her and I hope she has a very bright future.

I've kind of lost touch with her so I gotta get back into her with this new release. I'm not the biggest fan of Seamo's voice but it sounds good so far.

This thread NEEDS more attention This girl AZU is AMAZING <3 Her voice is similar to Kuu's but much nicer and smoother, IMO. I think she's adorable and needs more listeners!

She's got a really nice voice, how does she do sales wise?

^ I don't think her sales are that amazing. I think she charts in the hundreds but I'm not sure. Oh and the drag queen thing, I was like 'ahaha ew' at first but then when I got used to them I was like 'aww they're actually kind of cute'. I think it's nice that she's cool with them -we need more people like that.
