CDL 04-05...what is this product???
Can someone tell me...what exactly is this? It can't be a DVD for that price. Is it the VCD or is it something else? Is it region free? Any help would be great.

Yeah, it's a VCD. I don't think that VCD's have region codings.

So I could purchase it and play it on a DVD player no problems? (sorry, i've never used VCD...but for that price I may try it)
And also...what exactly is the big difference between VCD and DVD?

VCD is basically a disc of MPG files that a DVD player can read. It's about that quality too, and only about an hour or so can fit on one disc so most of her concerts take up two.
And VCD is great if you want decent-quality content that you can actually watch. Collectors will opt for the dvds but vcd's are absolutely spiffy little things. Most DVD players will play them, but if yours doesn't your computer can play them... just open the .DAT files that are in its MPEGAV folder (you'll see when you get it) in WMP, Quicktime... whatever player you have that can play MPGs. ^_^

i told my mum to buy the DVD for me but instead she bought VCD, i dun like VCD, the quality is not very good and mine had chinese subs under it, cuz it was an overseas version

giggle! i see my review!! x3...i personally don't like VCDs :X they realyl bother me...especially when my family in the philippines play all these bootleg VCDs that hardly work and mess up a lot...lol but this isn't a bootleg...but anyways VCDs bother me

it's comparable to vhs, i think. Or a decent-quality mpg video. Go to the Complete Clip Box DL thread and get one of those files to see how they look. I don't think it's terrible.

^i only have internet access at work right now, so i can't download anything at all. i think i'll just give vcd a try, i'm not too picky. thanks a lot for the help though!

its tolerable..sometimes it gets really blocky though :-/. I think DVDs are worth it, unfortunately i dont have a region all DVD player
