HAPPY ENDING x MAD PROFESSOR: Wow.

I'm listening to Ayu's "ayu-mi-x 6 -GOLD-" right now.. and I've seen other threads on this before, stating that this remix is "the worst Ayu remix" to date. I must say...

I totally agree.

My bleeding eardrums listened up to 2:19 and then the sound traveling from one ear piece to the other on my head phones cause me to literally take the headphones completely off and set them on the table.

I think it's ashame since I adore HAPPY ENDING (one of my favorite Ayu songs =/) I was excited at first but UGH. What was Mad Professor thinking.
I came up with the scenario: Mad Professor had 2 days to remake this song that he (or avex, or Ayu) picked for him and decided to switch the song up and make it more freaky then a remix. That sounds like a remix? Now, lets add some random banging noises! Yes! It's done!

I actually liked the HAPPY ENDING x MAD PROFESSOR mixes. I thought wtf when I first heard them, and then they grew on me. I happen to like how the song is all over the place, and Ayu's voice is distorted throughout the song. This made me go back and listen to all the MAD PROFESSOR remixes, to which my surprise- I now like!

It's definitely a crazy mix, but with the right mood/ambience you could really get into it Try Hallowe'en night maybe XD but yeah, it's something really different, which is always welcome imo. Definitely not the worst in her remixography

I was really frightened when I first heard it!
I was so excited to hear a Happy Ending remix and it's just really unpleasant to listen to
I like the remix that someone did at the 2010 remix contest waayyy better!!

Loads of influences from triphop, with kind-of Bjork-like elements, but in a very ethereal 'everlasting-dream/rainbow/sakura drops'-theme. I really like it

agreed. i adore it. and it stands out. as u said it does have that sound. lol. which is perfect reason for me liking it. . .

I understand completely~ I didn't mean to sound so harsh on the song since fans do enjoy the song.

I don't think it's the worst at all, but it is most definitely one of the trippiest/strangest sounding remixes. One of those songs that would really only be enjoyable for just a few specific moods or mindsets.

it's a cool remix, it brings something new to the song and isn't just the vocals with some other beat. ever heard of experimental electronic music? I'm glad something like this found its way on ayu-mi-x 6.
