CD cases break too easily

Am I the only one who makes a big deal out of it when my CD cases get damaged?

It's not just my Asian stuff, it's the same when it comes to any item that relates to music.

I was carrying a whole bunch of CDs the other day and I dropped them by accident

I really wish they wouldn’t break so easily

I get really angry when that happens. I keep a bunch of my CDs in the back of my car and they fly all over the place and end up cracked. My own fault, but I still get really pissed about it.

I love music and don't worry I flip out to. I broke one of my Jessica Simpson CD cases I've had since I was in fourth grade and got so upset... I generally find Asian CD cases to be harder to keep from breaking though since they seem to always use the super thin jewel cases... That's why I keep all my Asian CDs in my desk and flip if someone tries to touch them. XD

Yeah I've broken a lot of mine. -___- The hinges of mine usually break so when you open the CD the cover falls off. Bleh~

yep! i hate that so much!!!

jewel cases are definitely too fragile. this is why i keep all my jpop in a drawer and almost never even open it! i never use my cds anymore. although, sometimes they still arrive in the mail broken or cracked. its so frustrating!

I like using them though.

I'd much rather put a CD in the stereo than listen to an mp3 on my laptop, but very often when I take them out, something unfortunate happens

On top of that, someone always says "it's just a CD"

Mine used to break all the time when I was a kid, because I would carry them around in a backpack
They don't break as often now, but when they do... it really pisses me off

I haaaate this so much!! Once, I moved my NEXT LEVEL from my shelf to my desk, I didn't touch it after that (I had set it down gently), and when I went to pick it up, I noticed that there was a long scratch down the back of it

When it comes to my CDs, I'm totally OCD about them!! It irritates me if my cases are broken! >.< Even when it comes to my J-POP stuff, even a crack will bother me! But I guess I'm weird like that, huh? ^^;

You know you could just buy a pack of new jewel cases at the store and replace the broken ones.

I take really good care of my CDs ( no matter how much I play them), so I honestly can't relate too much. But if my cases ever were to crack, it would seriously get on my nerves.

I've yet to break or crack a case I truly care about. All my Ayumi CDs are in bubble wrap lol

I now leave mine in their plastic. Some I don't even think I've opened. I have bubble wrap around some of the more precious items though, like the NEXT LEVEL USB. And RnRC boxed set is actually still in the brown cardboard box it came in.
