[2009] [Discussion] She said "You're a bad Ayu-fan"!?

I talked to this girl the other day, who is also an Ayu-fan, about her HUGE cataloge. She said she would surely purchase all of Ayu's releases, including DVDs, singles and so on. I said that "it would be great to have all of her releases, but, unfortunately, I don't have the money. There's a lot of other artists I want to support, too, so I will only buy her CDs". She went silent for a moment, and returned with "Oh my God, you are a bad Ayu-fan! You should only support Ayu, not the other crappy artists, like Jeff Buckley!" (she said Jeff Buckley because I told her I also like his music) After that, she blocked me...

So, the discussion is: do you think a fan is "bad" just because he/she don't purchase everything Ayu releases? Like I have said several times, I actually do feel quilty about not purchasing all her CDs, DVDs and so on, but that dosen't necessarily make me a bad fan, right? I love her music and I respect her deeply enough to NEVER download her singles or DVDs just because I can't afford them. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I feel kinda offended now... :O
