Wanting M.A. but what to do...

Mmm.. here are all of my choices...

1) Order MA online through yesasia, the CD/DVD version but spend about 60 dollars and wait about a week for arrival (AFTER holidays)

I won't do 1, since the DVD is region code 2 and I have region code 1 DVD player =/

2) Order MA online through yesasia, the CD only and spend about 40 dollars and wait about a week for arrival (AFTER holidays)

3) Go to Pacific Mall on monday and buy it there (I want ot do this, but I hae no clue if it's in stock, and how much it would cost, and if they also sell the CD/DVD version. ANYONE who knows, pleasse reply >_<! It would be very appreciated! I also wanna know if the CDs in Pacific are Japanese or Overseas version...)

4) Wait for a while for the price to drop and buy on yesasia, CD/DVD version for about 40 dollars and can actually watch it on DVD (I think overseas verison should have region code 1?)

Bleh, some help would be nice o.o;;... I'm new to the online thing and this would be my second purchase... my first one was just a random pick (And it was "&" single) so I don't know much =P

Arrigato mina~

The overseas DVD would likely be region code 3, I believe. Your best bet would probably to buy the CD-only version or maybe see if a VCD version is released.

If you have a PS2, buy a Game Shark for it. It's how I watch my Region 2 and 3 DVDs. ^_^

Pacific Mall sells Overseas Versions (I bought A BALLADS there at Broadcast, and it looks exactly the same as the scan of the Overseas version on Divine Ayu). Broadcast sells Ayu CDs for about $30+tax and MHQ sells them for about $40-45+tax (they are usually ten dollars more; these prices are based on when I went 2/3 weeks ago).

I don't know if Memorial address would be instock. They don't seem to have very many Japanese CDs (Pacific Mall has mostly Hong Kong/Taiwan/Chinese stuff). 2/3 weeks ago, they had 'No way to say', but they may have 'Memorial address' already.

I have no clue whether they have CD+DVD versions, but I think they should.

I just went today (Sunday), and neither MHQ or Broadcast has 'Memorial address'. And the prices are as follows:

Broadcast: around $25+tax for albums (I saw the 'I am..' CDA there, and 'Dearest', '&', 'No way to say' singles)

MHQ: $35+tax for albums (I only saw the newest remix albums there and a copy of 'A BALLADS' for $23.99)

Vinneh, sorry to disappoint you, but the chances of them having 'Memorial adress' are slim. I even asked them if they had it, and they said no, and I don't know when they will have it.

If you really want it ASAP, you can ask MHQ to see if they can order it for you and call you when it's in (they'll want you to jot down your name and number).

VCDs are video CDs (I think that's what it stands for..). Anyway, it's a type of CD that can play in a VCD player. I don't really know the difference between that and a DVD, though...

Lol, thanks so much stephy! It's a great help =P

Hmm, I don't think I'm gonna go through all that hassle... so I guess I'll wait until yesasia has the overseas version and order it there (Overseas MA would just... have some extra papers stuffed inside right @.@?).

But I also want the PVs... a VCD is a disk right? So can't it be watched with a DVD player or something? (yeesh, too much stuff I don't understand about DVD, region codes, VCD, BLAH!)

So currently... Overseas MA CD or CD+VCD

(Overseas still contributes in supporting Ayumi correct =.="?)

I'm pretty sure that only the Japanese version counts towards her ranking, but buying overseas versions also helps too cuz Ayu still gets the money.

Just went to Pacific Mall yesterday... They have 'Memorial address' at both MHQ ($29.99) and Broadcast ($19.99). I think the one at Broadcast was a CD version, and the one at MHQ had this extra piece of plastic casing on it (is that for CD+DVD?).
