i kno this is a lil off and on topic but have you guys heard of the movie The Passion of the Christ? it'll be in theaters on Feb. 25... who is goin to see it? and i was wonderin' if anyone thinks Ayu would see it... and if she did, what would she think?

Alot of ppl said the movie was controversial.. on the local news mainly. I would like to see it coz I'm Christian and just to see how well a job Mel Gibson did as director.

Not sure if this film will be played in Japan or not coz Christianity isn't very popular over there.

I saw the preview and they got one part wrong. They stick the nails through jesus's palms, they found out that they stuck the nails through the wrists.

Im not very religous at all, I dont even believe in god, but I read about it while in latin class. Just a thought! ahaahah

True, although someone once told me they stick the nails through the palms and put ropes around they wrists, but I think that's crap.

I'm not sure. . . It all depends on whether it's released in Japan or not. If so, Ayu might see it since she might use Christian ideas from it to add to a future PV, but. . . eh, this is a weird topic to be in the Ayu Chat Room, even if it does (loosely) involve Ayu.

I'd personally see it either with my school (who is trying to rent a movie theater for us to watch it in on Ash Wednesday) or with my parents.

thanks for replying about this! ^^ i'm a christian so i was really happy when i heard about this movie and saw the previews for it... i can't wait to see it! i hope Ayu goes to see it and becomes Christian!! lol haha tho that prolly won't happen lol ::sigh:: but i hope alot of you guys go too! it'll be awesome! i kno itz a lil on the violent side but the bible says that Jesus was actually beat to the point where you couldn't tell he was human... so this is no comparison... but anywayz, i hope you guys and Ayu go see it... if ya see it... come post what you thought of it and what you think Ayu'd think! ^^

Yeah, I want to see this. The hype surrounding it is incredible. People are saying it could ruin Mel Gibson's career if it turns out to be too controversial.

I have no clue what Ayu would think. But considering that she did write a song about the Virgin Mary ("M") perhaps she might find this movie to be affecting.
