Let's not, it will get too much emotionally charged for some (I'm NOT included, of course).

Aleuts in alaska got treat'd like CRAP durring ww2, ALOT of who they are got erased, and died off because of the evacuation, *rare* objects were stolen, or vandalized, ppl blackmail'd, starved to death or frooze to death,or no medical supplies, that also kill'd em off, just up left and tooken to a foriegn-like atmosphere,( b/c aluetian islands have NO trees, and the tlingit area had trees, so i say foriegn-like atmosphere) and im half aleut from my mom. To tell the truth,at first i loath'd what happend. i was angery. and when i would watch documentarys at school, about american history about these wars, and when we finnaly got to ww2. they didnt mention one word, about life in the islands, they gave off an impression that it was empty landfields, to do battle on, no culture what so ever on those islands. And after awhile..was it really worth it to HATE kinds so much? I mean if a ethinic mob treats others badly, would it mean the WHOLE kind is mostlikely that way, too? becides it takes too much energy to hate another, theres some @$$ holes in each cultures, but NOT everybody are like the a-holes, right>? I have a japanese teacher, and we connect, and she knows im alaskan native, and shes still COOL. So then It really isnt worth hatting people right? I still lack some connection with the other side, but i hope i would connect with that kind, someday...

..probley korea is trying to connect, 2?

*sowee i have 2 comments next 2 eachother...i didnt read all the posts, and i wanted 2 make a comment*) soweee!!

I just hate it how the school systems doesn't teach everything there is to know, they tend to teach what the government wants to release I suppose. This is the first I ever heard of how the Aleutians were treated. I remember watching an interview with North Korean schoolchildren with an American reporter and the teacher constantly whispered into their ears on what to respond with. Pathetic.

cool!!!
the "ancient japanese" really have rigid thinking.. thats why the tradegy.... but what can we do if it is the greed for power that overcomes them and the evil they have become when they attain part of it... they are overly blinded with what they believe... (no hard feelings... and sorry for the somehow not easy to understand stuff....) but GOOD news ^^
