Ayu cosplay/costume for $$$

Hello, I'm am cosplaying (costume play) Ayumi at this year's "Sakura con" (April 8th-10th) an anime convention (anyone here going btw?). After the convention I am going to sell my Ayu costume, I'm going as the leopard Duty Ayu. I need to earn money for a trip to Japan and I'd like to sell the costume when I'm threw with it. I'm not sure about the price yet, but I'll tell you, I've spent about $150 on the rhinestones alone, the costume will probably be $200 if you want it, I know that's asking for a lot, but any huge Ayu fan would love to dress up like her or keep it as a collectable, the costume (I haven't made it yet, but I have all the materials) is going to be very accurate all the way down to the length of the tail, the size of the rhinestones, etc, almost a perfect replica! I will post pictures when I get the costume done!

If anyone is interest please tell me, thank you!

I spent about $250 on the BoY Ayu costume I made a while back. Vinyl and pearl beads aren't cheap. Making any sort of authentic costume is going to costume in the hundreds, if not thousands, dollar range. I know, I've wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on costumes...

Hmmm, what size are you? Unfortunately I don't think I'd fit into the costume!

You're brave to go up on stage in front of thousands of people, but there'll be plenty of Ayu fans there voting for you

I'm planning as going as Ayupan to the Japantown Anime Parade. Easy enough costume, right?

I wish I could afford to buy or make such nice costumes, but I end up making highly improvised ~$50 costumes that usually look kind of silly... ^^;

Hopefully you'll be able to post some pictures, I'd love to see it! Good luck too~
