Which Ayumi Album should I buy first?

Hello ^^ I hope I'm not posting in the wrong sub-forum.

I want to start my Ayu collection but I've got no idea with what to start with. Does anyone of you have any ideas in relation to this?

Best albums are always a good start for those who don't know which album should they buy.

"A Best" should be your choice.

but then again, the only way to know your idol is through buying all of her albums, starting from her debut till now, becase only that you can witness her growing over these years.....

Definatly " I am" the songs on their are memorable, and are the songs that a fan listen too for the first time and gets hooked

I think that you should start with 'A Song for XX' because it's the only way you'll be able to see exactly how much she's changed since her debut.

I think you should start with 'MY STORY' I think people who start out with her latest stuff grow for an appreciation of all her work instead of just becoming like those people who nag about you going down hill half the time because their stuck in the past. Sorry if I sounded bitter haha it's just gotten to be really annoying. Other than that I would go with 'Duty' it is REALLY solid album.

To me the best thing would be to get them chronologically. I started off with I am... and LOVEppears since those are my favorite albums, but then again I had already heard all the others. MY STORY IMO is a good album too, and so is Memorial address. It really depends on what your favorite Ayu style is though. Do you rock, electronic, or pop? Or maybe a little of each?
