Ayumi Merchandise (other than CDs)
I know that there's a store in Shibuya, Japan that is totally dedicated to selling Ayumi things, but where would I (an American resident) be able to find such things as sweat shirts and wristbands/sweatbands??
I hope that this is in the right section, thanks! |

Ebay is a good place. But a lot of the Ayu stuff is overpriced
![]() I go to Seattle's Chinatown quite a bit and haven't found a place that sells much Ayumi stuff. My best bet is Kinokuniya Bookstores, which has good CD's and such.. but the prices are so high

I agree that eBay has sellers that overprice the items. Right now, there's a set of 3 Christmas Ayupan (part of a Christmas tree decor set) that's selling for $120! (no one bid on it last I saw) Someone else is selling 30 Ayupan for a few hundred dollars. I mean, give me a break! They only cost a few bucks in Japan. *shakes head*

Yes those 30 Ayupan set is very overpriced, the Christmas ones only a little, because they are very rare (even in Japan)
But unfortunatly I also only know ebay as source,...perhaps some freind in Japan?

Yeah, I know about ebay, but they rarely have anything clothing related.. I was leaning more towards online stores and such.

You could try proxy bidding - people in Japan bidding on auctions.yahoo.co.jp items for you. It's a great concept, you can easily find rare stuff there, you'll have to shell out for it though, as you'll have to pay a) the price for the item itself, b) shipping costs to the person who got the item for you, c) an additional fee (usually about 15%) and d) shipping costs to yourself. Depending on the price, you can pretty much say you'll end up paying about between one and a half and one and two thirds the price you've won it for. Thus, expensive, but most definitely worth it. There's a (US-based) website that sells Ayu merchandise, but I forgot their name. They're insanely expensive though (they'll charge you $100 for a T-shirt) and everything sells out incredibly fast.

No stores sell ayumi merchandise here in Australia, well none that I know of. xD There's only a store that stocks ayumi cds, singles and DVDs. I guess that's pretty good though. (:

I doubt Chinatown sales Ayu wristsband, t-shirts, and such... They only sale CD, DVD...
I think Ebay is your best option.
