ANGEL'S SONG PV

I'm having such a hard time interpreting this PV...

Here are a few questions I have about the PV:

1) What's with her turning into a wolf? Does it have a connection with the lyrics?

On my way home from the bustle of the city
Though it was no different from any other day
I thought I would repeat such pattern of life
And tears welled up suddenly

So... is the wolf symbolizing, like, a different side of her that awakens? Or what? (lol)

2) Does the date have anything to do with the song (look at the check for the date)? I believe the date is August 1967. Any reason why this is in the 60's, or is that just a time era Ayu liked?

I think it's ultimate randomness, the director said "hey lets have her turn into a werewolf!"

Someone might be able to get some sort of meaning out of it, but I think it's just grabbing stuff out of the air. Some people can get meaning out of anything.

I've always seen it as a fun pv and nothing more, like the whole thing is a joke, something to make you laugh. You don't really expect Ayu to turn into a wolf, beat the robbers and leave with a large amount of cash.

I never saw it as having a meaning either, so I kinda took a gander and said, "Maybe that's why this happens," you know?

I was probably also afraid that if I said, "I don't get it; it doesn't mean anything," people would've been like, "HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE THAT??" (Hey, that's happened to me with "alterna" before. ^^'')

Well, we can leave this thread open for discussion and such, but thanks to the three of you who already replied.

People always have different interpretations of a PV, they just see different things in each PV. When I first saw the Mirrorcle World PV I though it didn't have any meaning, that it seemed more like a fashion photoshoot and nothing else, but other people saw that it had some meaning. It doesn't mean that one person is really right or wrong, just have different ways of looking at things. Just like the songs, some will like one song, others won't.

Watching the Angel's Song's PV is a lot of fun... I kept giggling after I watched it for a couple of times. But I think that the song's lyrics had no connection with the video... Or does it?

Indeed. It doesn't have connection with the song.. And people have different perceptions bout it..
Maybe they run out of time thinking for the suitable MV for the song so they just chose to make Ayu a werewolf for a change? (What am i saying?)

Venus: Not only the date but I believe Ayu changed into that wolf lady at a specific time - I seem to remember her looking up at the clock and smiling when she saw the time?

I found it funny she changed into a werewolf lady person ...in the middle of the day, never seen that .. lol
I don't think there's any meaning to that, other than the director maybe wanted to make an action/horror movie kind of thing haha

but I think it's a fun and beautiful pv, and she looks so georgeous!


..and btw, I never knew she could kick ass like that??
