about Pride...

I found these from some Japanese Ayu fanboard.. I think they're talking about Pride's lyrics, but I can't understand. who can help me out? Thank you!

Hmm I can try... but I'm not that good..

They're basically saying something like the two people talking (at the start of Pride) are past Ayu and present Ayu.
Present Ayu is the one admiring Past Ayu's freedom. And Past Ayu's the one answering.

Then I think they're saying "Present Ayu is not free but she's found a reason to exist".. and that's what the Pride lyrics are about.

I hope that helped! Need someone else to look at it though.. ^^

Mmm ... the concept is quite similar to RAINBOW's one too if you're taking the discussion in such a manner. Personally, I don't think it's what Ayu intended, but since some fans have taken it in such a manner, I think it makes perfect sense as well.

I think it's really just that fan's hunch about the one line from the song.

I dunno, this poster makes me think that he/she is trying to justify Ayumi to people who aren't really fans of hers (the first paragraph mentions how even non-fans like B&D)

Thank you for the translation, Apprentice.
I think you're right.

I'm in love with ayu's lyrics again. she's much more than we think.
