Question Best Lyrically Written Song

I don't know if this has been discussed or not, but I'm gonna ask anyway: Which of Ayu's songs do you think is the best (lyrically) written??

I really like the lyrics to Memorial address ~take 2 version~, HEAVEN, and rainy day. What about you??

End of the World. I think it really reflects how she felt at that era.

I agree. I'd also throw in the A Song for Xx album - may not be her best album but arguably has some of her best lyrics.

That's true, I remember FRIEND and FRIEND II having good lyrics. A Song For XX, the song itself, has EXCELLENT lyrics. Especially the ending two lines.

I love the lyrics of Powder Snow. She really have good lyrics in the ASF XX era. I also enjoy after I am... era lyrics because it showed how much she matured as a person and how she came to peace with herself. Darn...So hard to choose....

Currently Pride.

then don't post?

Best lyrics:
Naturally (coolest lyrics IMO, not just powerful but very catchy)
Duty
SURREAL (the first 3 stanzas are amazing)
ASFXX
end roll
Catcher in the Light (It only has 4 lines, but you can interpret it thousands of different ways. I really like how such a message was presented in a very simplistic form here.)

Worst Lyrics:
almost anything off RAINBOW (save for a few)
Because of You (lyrics are very bland here)
STEP you
Beautiful Day
my names WOMEN
is this LOVE?
Pride
HONEY
Humming 7/4

...and I could go on.

Some of her songs are confusing. Like, I'll have to sit there and think about the lyrics, but it's only a couple songs, like Pride and INSPIRE.

is this Love was great, it seemed like one of those lyrics you'd pay someone to write for an artist. In a sense they werent Hamasaki's usual lyrics and they almost felt like Amerian Pop lyrics. Alterna is my favorite sometimes, it feels like she's telling us her thoughts.

Endless Sorrow is my overall favorite. She managed to say so much in so few words.
