Remember we mentioned Ayumi Hamasaki who wanted to be the best of all? Well, after counting her sales in Japan, it is found out that Ayumi Hamasaki is number 1 in Japan with sales of her "H" Single gone over 1'000'000 copies for the year of 2002. It looks like Ayumi's golden dream is coming true. "Good-o Luck-o", we would like to say it in Japanese but we dont know how..

There you have it!

How reputable is that first magazine? I find it hard to believe that Ayu would say that and even really know who Eva Langoria is - it's not like she is super famous. I don't know, the way that whole article is worded just seems kind of fishy to me.

oh yeah if Ayu knows Eva Langoria then Ayu must have been watching "Desperate Housewives" , cuz she only got famous from there

Yeah and with Desperate Housewives only being on since last year and with as busy as Ayu is, I don't know if she exactly has time to watch TV shows. Not to mention American ones.

Anyway, the reason I'm calling the article into question is that it sounds like a pretty shallow thing to say and in every interview I've read with Ayumi, she comes off as anything but shallow. The comment just seems a little odd to me.

Its the most popular mag in Malaysia and Singapore, perhaps. You see them on sale almost everywhere here.. Anyway, Eva Longoria has been acting for a long time, most of her roles are as police officers and stuff, she wasnt like Desperate Housewife-ish before. BTW, the news they report is always a few months old..

yeah, i agree. as soon as i read that quote i thought it sounded like someone had just made it up. sounds very much NOT like something ayu would say.
