That's really cool. I can totally see her as being the person that many gay people in Japan would look up to, kinda like Cher or Madonna here.

When I read the title I thought there's a rumour she's going to be there or something like it... too bad the fest wasn't big or anything, if they made gaypride in Japan as big as at least one of a'nation performances, I bet there'd be a chance to convince her to show up.
