Teens?

Well I honestly don't know all of Ayu's tracks by heart but I was wondering about Teens. I kind of missed a bit of Ayu's music during the time when she released Teens so I don't really remember it at all. And now I'm wondering if she's going to release it on this new mini album. Please, it's just a question full of ignorence from me. I'm not really that great with all of the factual information. Thank you!

The song is a cover, not her own song.

It's currently not on the track list of the new album, although it is reserved for changes, but I'm pretty sure it won't be there, onle because it is a cover. I'm pretty sure teens was just a b-side.

The only cover song that was ever on an album is Sotsogyou Shashin, I think.

Also, the fact that teens was somewhat of a 'remix' on the single also was a reason, I believe.

The 'real' version is on TRF's Lif-e-motions album.

Takahiro Maeda wrote the lyrics for "teens". Ayumi did not rewrite it.

It is a cover song.

One of the few songs Ayu has completely covered.

Technically "LOVE~since1999~" was just a duet so.. not a cover.
Sotsugyou Shashin and teens are kinda the only officially released ones [I think..]

Yup. Those two are the only 100% covers that ayu did & released on CD.

The LOVE songs, i don't consider any of them covers at all. They're all a part of TSUNKU's "LOVE" song project, consisting of LOVE ~Destiny~, LOVE ~refrain~ (L~D~'s sequel), LOVE ~since 1999~ (the duet), and LOVE ~dakiatte~ (by 7HOUSE). None of them are covers, just songs TSUNKU did in a series.

I guess only the 'TAKE1' cover of LOVE~since1999~ with Ai Takahashi is the only version of that song that's a 'cover'.. :<

Yeah. Good cover though... I prefer it over the original TSUNKU & Ayu version ^^;; Mostly cuz TSUNKU's vocals in the original are nothing short of horrific.

I don't really have a preference. They're both pretty good. Ai has more of a "singer's voice"..

But Ayu has that unique love voice <333
