mini has been aiming to become a singer since the age of 15. She is finally achieving that dream with the help of JIN (32), the musician who produces for artists such as GReeeeN. JIN put together the song "Are U Ready?," which mini will release as her first single in February. It will have a tie-in with the commercial for Suzuki's Chevrolet MW, which she will also appear in.

I really like Are You Ready! It's catchy!

Well...the songs are nice judging from the previews....but does she really need to be techno? @_@ Could she stand out? We have MEG, Perfume, Ami Suzuki....and those associated. I dunno....I just hope her dream career doesn't end early because of the genre she chooses to be part of. But if avex can pull off another hit artist....then good for them. On the other side....the little ballad is kinda generic and slightly underwhelming...but promising. We'll see....

And yes...she's hot....but that's like stating the obvious.

I do agree that it's the same style as ami suzuki (the others I just heard of them, never listened to them)
but I personally just love that style
I hope the PV will be out soon, or at least a preview of it

is she a Yasutaka Nakata produced act?

and it's so interesting how she's considered tall at 5'2 lol I guess it's more her proportions. She looks a lot taller than she is.

I'll look out for her...even though, a lot of these techno chicks are so similar that they become hits or misses for me.

Ex. I

Ami and COLTEMONIKA, capsule, etc, but I really dislike perfume and MEG.

"Are U Ready?" is a pretty good.

It's gotten me thinking about buying the single.

Interesting how the catalog numbers on her website identify her as being on the "Cutting Edge" sub-division of Avex (like Anna Tsuchiya) yet CD Japan has her listed with regular Avex catalog numbers:

I guess they must've switched her over after they sent out the preorder information or something.

From what I heard so far she has a really nice voice and I love "Special Memory". I will keep an eye on her

I don't know about Ami Suzuki since I do not listen to her music but it really has some touches of Kumi and 2NE1's FIRE PV.

But I think it is great!! I really really like this PV and song! Great debut! ♥

Omg, Are U Ready? is soooooo cool

. Unlike others who are techno and electropop, her vocals are good! I love them! The b-side is nice too, I'll be watching her from now on
