Favorite Disney Song?

I found one of my old Disney song CDs, and it felt so natsukashii to listen to it, and I figured that everyone must have at least one favorite song from the huge corporation.

I really can't think of just one.

A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes - Cinderella (Considering I went on the 50th anniversary and the year of a Million Dreams 2006, this seems fitting)
When you Wish Upon a Star - Pinocchio (I consider it THE Disney Anthem)
Supercalifragilisticexpialadocious, Feed the Birds, Let's go Fly a Kite - Mary Poppins (Probably the only record I have of Julie Andrews singing)

What's yours? It can be anything, as long as it was featured in Disney officially one way or another (i.e. insert songs, themes, etc.)

I've always been particularly fond of Part of Your World. I liked it even more when Jessica Simpson covered it on the first Disney Mania CD to be entirely honest.

I mainly like the Aladdin ones like Prince Ali and whatever the first song was called (don't like Whole New World though - it's just total cheese nowadays. Thank you Peter & Jordan and the countless other people who have covered that song lol!) I always think Be Prepared from The Lion King is totally underrated - way better than Circle of Life. Colours of the Wind - or whatever it was called from Pocahontas - was alright too.

Do Simple & Clean or Sanctuary count? Lol j/k. Thoough S&C sounds kinda Disney-ish but Sanctuary/Passion doesn't.

(Bit OT here but one of my most disliked is actually Feed The Birds - it's just so depressing! And I'm not a fan of Reflection from Mulan either - just a soulless ballad)

Those poor unfortunate souls
In pain, In need
This one longing to be thinner, that one wants to get the girl...
Do I love this song? Yes Indeed.

Little Mermaid and Pocahontas soundtracks feature in my top 20 albums ever

Pretty much anything from The Lion King (though the Broadway soundtrack is way better), Mulan, and Pocahontas. I also like some songs from Aladdin. And I absolutely LOVE that extended scene on the Pocahontas DVD where Pocahontas and John Smith are singing If I Never Knew You. Wish they had kept that in.

Probably Pocahontas's Color of the Wind, I think that's the name. Alan Menken was a true genius!

I completely forgot about Reflection and Colors of the Wind until I read these other posts. Both of those are probably tied with Part of Your World for my favorites.

And I would say Simple and Clean and Sanctuary most definitely don't count as they were made for a game, and were originally in Japanese as singles anyways. I don't know, I guess it's kind of subjective what counts as a Disney song when you consider those.

OMG, I have such a list. I was a total Disney movie addict when I was a little kid. Lemme think, my favorites....

1. Colors of the Wind - Pocahontas
2. Under The Sea - The Little Mermaid
3. Circle of Life - The Lion King
4. I Just Can't Wait To Be King - The Lion King
5. Reflection - Mulan
6. Steady As The Beating Drum - Pocahontas
7. I'll Make A Man Out Of You - Mulan
8. A Girl Worth Fight For - Mulan
9. Part Of Your World - The Little Mermaid
10. Kiss The Girl - The Little Mermaid

As you can see, those are my four favorite Disney movies. ^.^ I even had a Little Mermaid birthday party when I was five. Even though the movie came out like three years before I was born.

So hard to decide!! "Colors of the Wind" has a special place in my heart since it was one of the first full songs I learned how to play on the violin, but "Arabian Nights" has always been a big favorite too. "Part of Your World" and "Once Upon a Dream" are classic favorites of mine, as is "I Just Can't Wait to be King" I also looooove "Make a Man Out of You"

I have three Disney's greatest CDs so I love almost everything. And I do love A Whole New World, most especially Katie Price and Peter Andre's version (sorry Milkshake!). One song that I think is totally awsome and totally not as well known is The Bells of Notre Dame from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Amazing!

Can I say Passion and Hikari? No, lol.

I love so much Under The Sea, A Whole New World, all the songs of Lion King, High School Musical songs (lol, the people will kill me for this) and obviously Hakuna Matata.

But my favorite at least will be always A Whole New World.
