my younger sister bcos she was & still is heavily into JPop even way before me

except she's more in depth like she watched Japanese dodramas , comedy shows , animes in addition of listening to JPop music

she's a JPop nut

for me I'm just scratching the surface of things in that I do listen to JPop music except some acts she doesn't like/listen but I do & vice versa

& I like watching HEYx3 too , it cracks me up big time

I think the question is who did you influence J-Pop; like who did you introduce J-pop to right?

oops

I misread the question

correct answer - no 1 though it's my younger sister that influenced me

I was getting bored with Eng music & not to mention the type of Eng music that was coming outta the S'pore local scene so I thought I gave JPop a shot 2 years back

it became a full blown effect last Oct

I discovered it through Kingdom Hearts some years back, but only recently in the past 1 and a half years has it really grown on me.

So, I influenced myself. ^^

My 2 best friends, they are addicted to some ayu and namie songs.

It happened when I was at high school on 11th grade, we always were together in the breaks (of course =P) so I let them listen to some songs of ayu and it wasn't hard for them to like some of them. So they mainly like ayu's and namie's music and a lot of random songs (one of them).

My mom likes Ayu and some stuff my MUCC (just not Tatsurou's voice). I've started getting my sister into Koda Kumi. I figured That Ain't Cool was good to start with because it's in English and Fergie's in it, but she really likes Black Cherry, too.

oopss.. but there's a mistake. Many has misunderstood my question..
It's my fault..
My question is: i'll just put it in a situation. You love jpop and then you influence who? Me, I love listening jpop since I was in grade school and i always play my cds.. Then my sister and my mother became in love and addicted too after I play the songs over and over again....

Sorry, i mislead all of you.. My english was poor.. Please forgive me.. Sorry for the inconvenience..

Not so much j-pop, more j-rock it seems.
A lot of friends (or maybe past friends now..) once mocked me for my likeness of Japanese music, and now they call themselves fans too.

My sister really likes Ayu, and my mum does too.
My mum really likes Kagrra, and Gackt

I've gotten one friend to appreciate the J-Pop world. She really enjoys Utada's stuff the best, though.
