[News] dream are back!!!

I just recently found out that dream (shortly known as DRM) are to return!! After 9 years they have moved label!!! (and also getting rid of that terrible abbreviated name)

Their old website http://www.avexnet.or.jp/drm comes up with a message saying it's time to move on.

All 7 members are going over to this new label (who are actually the same label Exile has just recently signed to.)

However Yu Hasebe will be leaving (but staying with this new label) in a talent deal.

and will launch on August 1st.

Really looking forward to this as Avex really haven't tried with dream for the past 2-3 years really. A smaller label may well work with dream, putting a lot more effort into building a band that's already got 9 years of support

Sidenote: Avex really seem to be cutting talent (I've never known them to do it before). Maybe they're having monetary problems? Underperforming artists they have always stuck with.

I just hope they will keep making songs like they used to ^__^
I'm looking forward for a new release from them!

What is the name of the label they're moving to?

If it's Ryhtm Zone then dream are still avex trax's as this label is avex's sub-label.
If it's RZ so I hope they won't turn them to R&B girls band >_<.

Cool...I just hope they'll have a new sound because for some reason, a lot of their good songs in the past sounded exactly like [My Will]...-_-;

found about about the bad news about yu earlier, Yu ! dont go ! :'(
but finally dream are out of avex's grip they are so talented yet avex dont promote them as much as they deserve , go dream !

They did some eurobeat (they did a Japnaese version of Night of Fire). Also the first ending to InuYasha.

They did poppy fun really good music. Check out if you can find them "Brave," "Wo Ai Ni," and "Identity"

It went from 3 in 2000, down to 2 in 2002, up to 8 in 2002, down to 7 in 2004, and now down to 6 in 2008.

I'm a huge fan of theirs. I've been listening to them since 2001 and I own all their singles, albums, and DVD's.
